Mortal Kombat: Unchained is a fighting video game that was released in 2006 for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) handheld gaming console. It was developed by Midway Games and published by Midway Games and later Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment after Midway Games' bankruptcy.

As part of the iconic Mortal Kombat franchise, Mortal Kombat: Unchained features the trademark fast-paced, brutal combat that the series is known for. Players can choose from a roster of popular Mortal Kombat characters, including Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, and others, and engage in one-on-one battles against opponents in a variety of game modes.

The gameplay of Mortal Kombat: Unchained is characterized by its mix of hand-to-hand combat, special moves, and gory finishing moves known as Fatalities. The game also introduces new features, such as the Chess Kombat mode, where players use Mortal Kombat characters as chess pieces to battle against each other on a chessboard, and the Puzzle Kombat mode, which is a fast-paced puzzle game with Mortal Kombat characters.
