Twisted Metal III released on November 11, 1998, by 989 Studios, continues the chaotic vehicular combat tournament orchestrated by the enigmatic Calypso. In this installment, players select from a roster of fourteen eccentric characters, including both returning favorites and new additions, each equipped with unique vehicles and devastating weaponry. Utilizing the TruPhysics engine, the game introduces ten new combat arenas, ranging from Washington, D.C. to the North Pole, where players engage in intense battles to be the last one standing.
