Controls

D-Pad: Move Max Payne
A Button: Shoot
B Button: Jump
R Button: Reload
L Button: Target Lock-On
Select: Open/Close Inventory
Start: Pause/Unpause Game

In addition to these basic controls, Max Payne Advance also features a few other moves and abilities that can be performed:

Rolling: Press and hold the D-Pad in the direction you want Max Payne to roll, then press the B button to execute a roll.
Shootdodge: While running, press and hold the L Button to activate Target Lock-On. Then, press the A Button to perform a Shootdodge and slow down time, allowing Max Payne to take out multiple enemies at once.
