Controls

D-pad or Control Pad: Move your character in different directions
A button: Attack, confirm selection, grab or pick up objects
B button: Jump, cancel selection
R button: Block or defend against attacks
L button: Toggle special moves, use item or throw object
Start button: Pause the game, open the pause menu

During gameplay, you can use different combinations of buttons and the D-pad to perform special moves and attacks. Here are some examples:

A + A + A: Perform a three-hit combo
A + A + B: Perform a three-hit combo that ends with a strong finishing move
A + A + R: Perform a shield-breaking move that staggers enemies
A + B: Perform a jumping attack
A + R: Perform a sweeping attack that hits multiple enemies
A (when near an object): Grab or pick up the object
B (when near a ledge): Jump up to grab the ledge and pull yourself up
B (when in the air): Perform a double jump
R (when blocking): Counter-attack with a powerful move
