Samurai Shodown III: Blades of Blood is a fighting video game developed and published by SNK. It was released in 1995. The game is the third installment in the Samurai Shodown series, known for its weapon-based fighting mechanics and feudal Japan setting.

Samurai Shodown III introduced several new gameplay mechanics, including the ability to select between two fighting styles for each character, as well as the Rage gauge system, which allowed players to perform powerful desperation moves when their gauge was full. The game also featured a roster of returning characters from previous installments, along with new additions.
