Mobile Suit Gundam Ver. 2.0 is a video game developed by BEC and published by Bandai. It was released on March 29, 1996, for the PlayStation console. The game is based on the iconic Mobile Suit Gundam anime series, also known as First Gundam or Gundam 0079.

Directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino, the anime premiered in Japan in 1979 and became a cultural phenomenon, spawning numerous sequels, spin-offs, and adaptations. In Mobile Suit Gundam Ver. 2.0, players control giant robots known as Mobile Suits in intense battles against enemy forces. The game offers a mix of action and strategy gameplay, allowing players to pilot various Mobile Suits and engage in both aerial and ground combat.
