Ancient Roman: Power of the Dark Side is a classic RPG developed and published by Nihon Systems in 1998. Players assume the role of a 17-year-old boy thrust into a world of adventure when a group of heroes bands together to combat an encroaching evil force threatening global destruction.

The narrative unfolds as the protagonist, kidnapped as an infant by a malevolent creature, matures into a young man. With the aid of two companions, players engage in battles against monstrous foes terrorizing their hometown.
