Primal Rage is a fighting game that was released in arcades in 1994 by Atari Games. It was later ported to the SNES and other consoles. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where dinosaurs have been brought back to life through genetic engineering. The player can choose from one of seven playable dinosaur gods and fight against other gods in one-on-one battles. The game features blood and gore, and the player can perform various attacks, combos, and fatalities. Primal Rage was notable for its stop-motion animation technique, which gave the dinosaurs a lifelike appearance.
