Spicy Cheese Alchemy Recipes
One of the two types of cheeses in Dragon Quest 8 which can be used during combat to AoE attack all enemies on the field is Spicy Cheese. The other type of cheese that allows you to cast AoE attacks are the Ice Cheeses. The Spicy Cheeses have one less rank of cheese to reach the highest damage dealing rank than Ice Cheeses. Meaning it'll take overall less time to make the best cheese with these than with the Ice ones. Although that also means the best cheese is worse for Spicy than it is Ice. Another thing to keep in mind too is you can only use these consumables during battle and on the Hero.
If you are playing on a Ps2 and you have to wait for each Alchemy Recipe, I would recommend you spend your time making the Ice Cheeses more. The best Spicy Cheese you can make on a constant basis prior to the Dragovian Sanctuary only deals half of what the best Ice one can.
Spicy Cheese is a consumable item only usable by the Hero which deals 30 - 40 damage to all enemies.
Plain Cheese is most commonly made with Alchemy.
Red Mould can be purchased from Princess Minnie's Castle and the Bazaar in Argonia. It is also found in some chests throughout the game and dropped from some enemies
Super Spicy Cheese is a consumable item only usable by the Hero which deals 65 - 90 damage to all enemies.

Nook Grass is dropped from the Hellspawn enemy, found in Dragovian Sanctuary
Scorching Cheese is a consumable item only usable by the Hero which deals 150 - 170 damage to all enemies.
Super Spicy Cheese is made with Alchemy
Premium Mould is made with Alchemy by combining a Yggdrasil Leaf with Waterweed Mould and Red Mould
Dragon Dung is sold in the Dragovian Sanctuary. Prior to that, you can only get it in certain pots/barrels and as a drop from enemies. Bobonga and Dragurn are the two best enemies to farm for it but it also drops (rarely) from Beelzebuzz, Freeze Fly and Hacksaurus
