Magic Knight Rayearth is a role-playing game (RPG) based on the popular anime and manga series of the same name created by CLAMP. The game was released exclusively for the Sega Saturn in 1995 by SEGA. In Magic Knight Rayearth, players assume the role of one of the three magical girls - Hikaru, Umi, or Fuu - who are transported to the fantasy world of Cephiro. Their mission is to rescue Princess Emeraude, the pillar of Cephiro, who has been kidnapped by the evil High Priest Zagato. Players embark on an epic quest, exploring dungeons, solving puzzles, battling enemies, and acquiring new abilities and weapons to aid them in their quest to save Princess Emeraude and restore peace to Cephiro.

The game features turn-based combat with a unique Tactical Fighting System that allows players to strategically position their characters on the battlefield to gain advantages in battles. Players can also form alliances with other characters they meet along the way, each with their unique abilities and skills, to enhance their party's capabilities.
