Virtual Hydlide is an action-adventure role-playing video game that was first released in 1995 by T&E Soft, a Japanese video game company. It is a remake of the original Hydlide game that was released in 1984, and it features updated graphics and gameplay for the Sega Saturn console. Virtual Hydlide is set in a fantasy world and follows the adventures of a hero who must explore dungeons, defeat enemies, and solve puzzles to save the world from an evil force.

The game features real-time combat, exploration, and character progression, with a focus on open-world exploration and questing. Players can engage in battles with various monsters and enemies using swords, magic, and other weapons, and can also interact with NPCs (non-playable characters) to obtain quests, items, and information. Virtual Hydlide was notable for its early foray into 3D graphics on the Sega Saturn, although it received mixed reviews for its graphics, gameplay, and overall execution. Nevertheless, it remains a part of gaming history as one of the early 3D action-adventure games for the Sega Saturn console.
