Sonic 3D, also known as Sonic 3D Blast, is a video game released in 1996 by Sega for various gaming platforms, including the Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, and PC. The game was developed by Traveller's Tales, a British game development studio known for their work on many popular games during the 1990s. Sonic 3D features a unique isometric perspective and gameplay mechanics that differ from the traditional side-scrolling Sonic games. In Sonic 3D, players control Sonic as he navigates through isometric levels in search of Flickies, small birds that have been captured by Dr. Robotnik (also known as Eggman) and turned into robots.

Players must collect Flickies and defeat enemies in order to progress through the game and ultimately defeat Dr. Robotnik. Sonic 3D features colorful graphics, catchy music, and a variety of power-ups and special stages. Despite mixed reviews upon its release, Sonic 3D has since gained a cult following and is remembered for its unique gameplay mechanics and 3D isometric perspective, which set it apart from other entries in the Sonic franchise.
