Golden Sun: The Lost Age - Djinni Locations (20 - 29)
This page has the locations of Djinni (20 - 29) in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. I've included a little bit of information with each Djinni as well as screenshots of where the Djinni is and anything else that you need to see (like the puzzle to get the Djinni).

(20) Steam - Mercury Djinni (Aqua Rock)
You need to complete the Aqua Rock dungeon and obtain the Parch Psynergy to get this Djinni. Giving you directions to this Djinni is a bit difficult so I'm going to use three notable landmarks. The room where you got the Aquarius Stone during the Aqua Rock dungeon; just north of that chest is a large blue tear drop as well. North of the large blue tear drop is a waterfall you walk inside of which puts you into that purple room with the crystal in the center that restores your PP.
That should be enough detail for you to understand the room I am talking about. From the blue crystal follow the eastern route across the stars and exit through the bottom door right near where the star pathway ends (pictured above). This will put you into a room with a large waterfall. Run up the waterfall to reach the top which is where you'll find Steam. In order to capture him you'll need to climb up the wall and use the Parch Psynergy on the water pool on top the statue. This will let you run up to Steam and capture him after a battle.
(21) Reflux - Mars Djinni (Tundaria Tower)
This Djinni is found in Tundaria Tower on the 4th floor, as you progress through the dungeon you will reach a fork in the road where you can go four different ways. I show you a screenshot of this location in my Golden Sun: The Lost Age Walkthrough (Chapter 4). The southern route at this junction will take you across some ice and you'll land at the exact location you see me standing in the picture above.
When you make it to the location shown in the picture above, that's when the real puzzle begins. To make this easier for you I have traced the final part of the path in red and I have circled the important location you must get to. Once you are able to slide across the ice and land against the rock I circled - you'll be almost done. Instead of trying to get to the Djinni try to get to the circled location instead. From there it's a simple down, right, up, right to the Djinni.
Alternatively, if you want exact directions - from the middle of this area (where you see me standing) you'll want to follow the steps below to get the Djinni.
To get Djinni from the middle: Left, Up, Right, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Right, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Right
(22) Coal - Mars Djinni (Izumo)
To obtain this Djinni you'll need to complete the Gaia Rock dungeon and obtain the Dancing Idol. If you'd like more information about this dungeon or how to complete it I recommend you check out Chapter 5 of my Walkthrough. That chapter covers the entire dungeon including the final part which rewards you the Djinni.
Basically, once you've finished the Gaia Rock dungeon all you need to do is visit Izumo and give the Dancing Idol to Uzume. You can find her inside of the northern house in the village. As a thank you Uzume will give you Coal - that's all there is to it!
(23) Haze - Jupiter Djinni (Apoji Islands)
Once you learn the Sand Psynergy you'll be able to collect this Djinni in the town of Apoji Islands. Head over to Apoji Islands which is found on the far eastern end of the ocean. Look for the small island in the central-eastern part and you'll find this town. If you're having trouble finding this location use the Golden Sun World Map that I have.
Inside of Apoji Islands you'll want to go south to the beach (pictured below). You'll notice a small patch of sand on the other side of some rocks - use Sand to swim under the rocks and then travel east. Slide down the waterfall then enter the waterfall, use Whirlwind on the leaves to clear a passage and go through. This path will lead you straight to the Djinni which you can easily capture.

(24) Meld - Venus Djinni (Animal Item Trade Side Quest)
In order to get access to the cave with Meld you'll need to complete the Animal Item Trade Side Quest. At the very end of this quest when you give the final item to the turtle he will offer you a ride to a small island with a cave. You'll find the Djinni by going through this cave.
To reach this Djinni you'll need to ride the first log across the gap in this cave and then go to the bottom and ride that log up. Reaching him is simple, but you'll have to battle to get him. Hopefully he doesn't retreat once for you like he did for me! There is still more in this cave, I recommend you check out my quest walkthrough above if you want help finding the extra goodies.
(25) Rime - Mercury Djinni (Ancient Lemuria)
When you leave Lemuria by boat you'll want to immediately turn around and go back inside. Use your new Grind Psynergy on the rock in this cave to break it down and then sail inside to reach Ancient Lemuria. Head down to the southwest portion of this area and use your Cyclone Psynergy on the grass here to reveal a Djinni. It will retreat to the statue nearby, use Tremor on the statue to shake the Djinni out and capture it.
(26) Tinder - Mars Djinni (Hesperia Settlement)
When you gain access to the western sea sail over to the Hesperia Settlement and enter. If you're having trouble locating it use the Golden Sun: The Lost Age World Map. Once you're here - your task is to use your Growth Psynergy on the plant to get up to the top of the cliff.
Note: To learn the Growth Psynergy you'll need to have at least one brown & red (Venus & Mars) Djinni on Felix or Jenna. Pairing these two Djinni will change the users class and grant them the Growth Psynergy. It doesn't matter if you have 3 Venus and 1 Mars or vice versa, as long as you have only these two types paired together on that user. Put the rest on Standby if you need to or trade them to different users.
Use your Move Psynergy on the crate and also push it down to the ledge on the left hand side. If you're looking at my picture above, you need to push the crate down the left opening onto the ledge, then push it down into the gap below. Use your Move Psynergy on it to move it one block to the right and then you can jump to it like you see me in the picture. Now you can easily access the Djinni and the cave.
(27) Core - Mars Djinni (World Map)
Much like with Tinder, once you gain access to the western sea you can get this Djinni at any point. You can find him in the central part of the southern continent in the western sea. For an exact location use the Golden Sun: The Lost Age World Map and the screenshots on this page.
Land your boat on the central beach of the southern continent and just run inward. His location may seem confusing at first but he's a rather easy Djinni to locate.
You can find Core in the forest area between the two rivers
(28) Gel - Mercury Djinni (Kalt Island)
After you gain access to the western sea visit Kalt Island in the north. If you're having trouble locating Kalt use the Golden Sun: The Lost Age World Map. You will see this Djinni immediately upon entering Kalt, but getting to him will require some navigation across the frozen river.
To reach the ladder and the Lash point go up to the top of the frozen river then slide down, this will line you up perfectly with the path. From here you can easily Lash onto the cliff and follow it around to the Djinni!
(29) Petra - Venus Djinni (World Map)
Once you have gained access to the western sea, you're able to get this Djinni at any time. The best way for me to explain where it is - is to tell you to use the Golden Sun: The Lost Age World Map. You'll have to sail up a river to get here, it's close to the Shaman Village Cave which you will be visiting in the story.
You can park your boat right next to where you get this Djinni, as shown in my screenshot below.
