How to get Elanande's War Axe - Elder Scrolls: Morrowind

Elanande's War Axe is carried by an Altmer battlemage by the name of Elanande found in Godsreach of Mournhold in the Tribunal Expansion Pack. This axe is part of The Warlords Side Quest in Tribunal and if you choose to complete the Side Quest you'll have to surrender this axe to Dovor Oren.

However, since this is an Elder Scrolls game you don't actually need to start or even complete The Warlords Side Quest to get this item. All you need to do to get your hands on both Elanande's Robe and Axe is to find her in Godsreach and defeat her. It's recommended you use Frenzy Humanoid or Taunt her so that you don't get a bounty when killing her.
