Voice of Reason: Weapon Rune Word - Diablo 2

Voice of Reason does not offer any +Enhanced Damage to regular enemies and is thus passed over by many builds. What this weapon Rune Word does offer you is a lot of cold damage in the form of procs, reduced enemy resistance to cold and Cold Damage on Hit. It also comes with very high +Enhanced Damage rolls against Demons and Undead (which are the majority of the enemies you'll be facing in the game).

Another useful benefit that comes with this Rune Word is the 'Cannot Be Frozen' attribute which will free up a ring slot allowing the player to equip something other than Raven Frost. While this Rune Word may be fun to toy around with it offers very little in the form of practical benefits to the player.

Keep in mind that all Rune Words you create will retain any pre-existing bonuses found on the item. If you find a 'Superior' piece of armor with +Enhanced Defense, a Superior Weapon with +Enhanced Damage or a Helm/Weapon that has +Skill bonuses for a certain class, all of these will remain on the final Rune Word that is created. Farming High Runes: Out of all locations in the game one stands above the rest for farming specifically High Runes, the Countess during Act 1.
