The Nexus Instance Guide The Nexus is the first instance you come to in Coldarra/Borean Tundra. The Nexus is quite possibly the worst instance ever created. The only instance worse then The Nexus are The Oculus and every instance in the "Tempest Keep" area of Burning Crusade. The Nexus has 4 bosses in it, two of which are only available on heroic and differ depending on what faction you're on. I solo'd The Nexus the other day as a Prot Paladin at level 80. (Heroic) Commander Kolurg & Commander Stoutbeard: 337,025 Kolurg spawns in heroic Nexus runs for Alliance, and Stoutbeard spawns in heroic Nexus runs for Horde. Heroic Strategy: As for what this boss does... he has a whirlwind WHICH YOU NEED TO GET AWAY FROM, IT HURTS... A LOT. He also charges the furthest person away, which does a moderate amount of damage. Grand Magus Telesta: 120,125 Normal Strategy: Only thing to know for this fight is that she splits into adds, kill the Arcane one first and try to CC the other two. Then kill whatever other add you want first. If you don't have any CC zerg the adds one by one then get back on the boss. Heroic Strategy: Same as normal, just do stuff better. Anomalus: 192,200 Normal Strategy: Tank him in the center of the platform while the rest of the group spreads out. He will frequently open a Chaotic Rift which will make him immune to attacks. Crazed Mana Wraiths will spawn out of the rift if its not killed quickly. If any adds come out have the tank pick them up, and kill them after you kill the Rift. When the rift and adds are dead return DPS to Anomalus. Heroic Strategy: Tank him in the center of the platform while the rest of the group spreads out. Keristrasza: 248,500 - 512,278 Normal Strategy: This boss has a buff that stacks on you that can only be removed by moving, she Tailsweeps and randomly shackles people in place.
