Sprite Darter Hatchling

The Sprite Darter Egg drops from Sprite Darters which are located in Feralas. These mobs have a small spawn area just west of Camp Mojache. The Sprite Darters have roughly a .4% chance to drop the egg, usually it will take 200-400 kills in order to get an egg. At max level, most of the time you're here you will be waiting for respawns since there are so few to kill in this area.

Alliance are able to get this pet by completing a quest chain nearby. You can view that quest chain by clicking here. Horde's only way of aquiring this egg, however is from the Sprite Darter Hatchlings that drop it.
