Jadefire Satyrs - Felwood
This location is no longer here as of Cataclysm. Average Gold Per Hour: 50g Another great option for farming in the upper 50s is the Satyrs that are located in northern Felwood. The Satyrs here are super squishy and have a very good chance to drop Runecloth, Felcloth and Greens for you to disenchant. On average each mob will probably only drop 5 - 7s but with the addition of Runecloth you'll soon realize the amount of cash you can make here. Aside from the three items already mentioned the Satyrs don't drop much else of value, unless you count the Major Healing and Mana Potions. There are more good things to know about this camp too. First, is chests have a chance to spawn literally all over this camp. Depending on how long you sit down and farm here you have a pretty good chance to find one or two maybe even three chests with a bunch of goodies in them. The chests will be a big boost to your income. They contain old school Herbs and Ore that players need for leveling their professions and generally will pay a lot for on the Auction House. Is this where I should say but wait, thats not all? If you're a Herbalist or Miner you will find a great source of herbs and mines all around the Satyr camp. Miners will be able to find quite a bit of Thorium Ore around the Satyr camp as well as some Mithril. Herbalists get the real pleasure here. Throughout the camp you can find spawns of Golden Sansam, Dreamfoil and Gromsblood and along the hills and mountains around the camp you will be able to find Mountain Silversage. If you're worried about how much gold the camp will actually give you an hour ask the chinese farmers that farmed here at level 60. I'm sure the 3 of them per server that were here 24/7 could vouch for how awesome it can be. Items of Interest
