Blood Elf Camp - Azshara
With Cataclysm this location no longer exsists. Average Gold Per Hour: 50g The Blood Elves in Azshara is one of the oldest and most well known farming locations in the game. Back at level 60 this area was camped 24/7 by gold farmers and an occasional real player that wanted some gold as well. The Blood Elves here are extremely squishy and have very low HP. If you're a melee class you will be able to plow through this camp like nobody's business. Although you will need to watch out with how many Blood Elves you pull here. The Blood Elves here have very powerful spells which will quickly kill you if you're not paying attention. Throughout the course of an hour here you will collect at least 4 - 5 stacks of Runecloth as well as 3 - 4 greens. I highly recommend you disenchant the greens that you find here or have someone disenchant them for you. The Illusion Dust and Greater Eternal Essences sell for A LOT on the Auction House. Also while you're here you will want to keep a look out for any Solid Chests. There are a few different places throughout the Blood Elf camp that they can spawn, just keep an eye out and you'll eventually see one. The chests you can find here will contain a bunch of goodies including silver and almost always a green. Any herbs or ore that you get from the chests you will want to hold on to and see if you're able to sell it on the Auction House. Another good thing about the Blood Elves is if you ever get bored of them you can run around to one of the many satyr camps nearby and farm there. Additional Note: If you have Herbalism as one of your professions then you will be able to collect Dreamfoil, Sungrass and other valueable herbs from around the Blood Elf camp. Items of Interest
