This page covers all of the achievements in the "general" tab of your achievement window. All of the easy to get achievements are listed on this page, the more advanced ones will be put onto different pages since they need much more description.
Advanced General Achievements
The Right Stuff: Learn Artisan riding skill. There are also Giddy Up, Fast and Furious, Into the Blue Yonder which require you to learn the previous ranks, before Artisan riding.
Breaking the Sound Barrier: Learn the master riding skill.
Safe Deposit: Safe Deposit requires you to buy all 7 additional bank slots. This achievement is very easy and very worth it. To buy every bank slot you will be pumping out roughly 111g.
Going Down: Survive a fall from 65 yards or more. List of Locations that this achievement is possible, find one that best suites you and have at it.
Level 85: Hit level 85, there are also achievements for levels 10-70, every 10 levels and another one for 80 - 85 and 85 - 90.
Shave and a Haircut: Visit a Barber shop and get your hair cut. The cost depends on your level.
Tastes Like Chicken: Requires you to sample 50 different types of food. Really achievement to get, each different level of mage food counts toward this. If you're still missing some after scarfing down all them visit an Innkeeper in your main city and the bread vendor, fish vendor and meat vendor in shattrath.
It's Happy Hour Somewhere: Drink 20 different types of beverages. Mage Water counts toward this, otherwise visit any innkeeper and other assorted vendors. Easier then the food achievement to get.
Master of Arms: Raise 4 different weapon skills to 400.
Did Somebody Order a Knuckle Sandwich?: Raise your Unarmed Weapon skill to 400.
Superior: Get a full set of blues from heroics in WoTLK or better.
Epic: Get a full set of epic gear from WoTLK. Your best bet is arena gear or from 25 man Naxx.
Got My Mind on My Money: Loot 25,000 gold. Comes in increments of 100, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000 and 25,000. There is no best spot to do this and I don't recommend you focus on doing this, you'll go insane.

Greedy: Requires you to roll greed on a blue item and roll 100. On an item of item level 185 or above. If you find a blue drop in any instance at level 80, it will usually be item level 185 or better.
Needy: Requires you to roll Need on a blue item and roll 100. On an item of item level 185 or above. If you find a blue drop in any instance at level 80, it will usually be item level 185 or better.
My Sack is "Gigantique": Requires you to buy a "Gigantique" bag from Haris Pilton in Shattrath. They cost 1200 gold each.
Friend or Fowl?: Requires you to kill 15 turkeys in 3 minutes. Around 69, 64 on the map in Howling Fjord is the best possible location for this.
Armored Brown Bear: Buy an Armored Brown Bear from Mei Francis in Dalaran. It will cost you 750 gold. Or 600g if you're Exalted with Kirin'Tor.
Wooly Mammoth: Buy a Wooly Mammoth from Mei Francis in Dalaran. Costs 200 Emblems of Heroism.
Traveler's Tundra Mammoth: Purchase a Traveler's Tundra Mammoth from Mei Francis in Dalaran. Costs 20,000g. Or 16,000g if you're Exalted with the Kirin'Tor.
Get to the Choppa!: Obtain a Mekgineer's Chopper or Mechano-hog. Requires you to buy a Mekgineer Choppa or hog from an Engineer and use it.
Ring of the Kirin Tor: Requires you to purchase a Signet of Kirin Tor, Band of the Kirin Tor, Loop of the Kirin Tor or Ring of the Kirin Tor from Harold Winston in Dalaran. It's recommended that you wait until Exalted reputation with them before purchasing this. As you will save up to 1275g.
Dual Talent Specialization: Requires you to train Dual Talent Specialization from your class trainer at level 40 or above. Costs 1000g.
Cataclysmically Epic: Equip an epic item in every slot with a minimum item level of 359.
Cataclysmically Superior: Equip a superior item in every slot with a minimum item level of 333.
To All the Squirrels Who Cared for Me: The Cataclysm has brought more critters to Azeroth. You must /love them too.

One Hump or Two?: Obtain a camel mount in Uldum (with just one hump).
