Gates of Ekrund

                       

           Gates of Ekrund is the Greenskin and Dwarf tier 1 scenario. The type of game played in it is Domination, it has 3 objectives that are capturable, The Supply Room, the Ammo Cache and the Gate Switch. The first team to reach 500 or the team with the highest points after 15 minutes wins.

Number of players: 12 v 12
Capture Ammo Cache or Supply Room: 15 Points
Capture Gate Switch: 30 Points
Hold Any Objective: 2 Points Per Tick
Kill an Enemy: 5 Points
Duration: 15 Minutes
Levels: 1 - 12

Things To Keep In Mind

- Order starts out closest to the Supply Room and Destruction starts out closes to the Ammo Cache. The Gate Switch is in the center.

- If you're a healer or ranged don't jump down and fight on the Gate Switch's flag, leave that up to the melee and tanks.

- The flag will capture faster the more people standing on it. If more then 6 people are there, then the flag will cap as if only 6 where present. 6 is the cap of speeding up the flag capture.

- Have at least 3 people stand on each objective that you're trying to capture.

Strategies

           Grab the objective closest to your spawn area, then fight at the Gate Switch. Whomever gains control of the Gate Switch move in to the enemies other objective and try to capture that. It is also helpful if some of your melee dps goes around back and tries to capture the objective on there own.

Tanks: You're the first people to charge up into the fight. Follow the basic strategy and charge right to the Gate Switch. Hold your ground for as long as possible, hopefully some healers followed you to keep you up.

Ranged DPS: You will be the people that capture the Ammo Cache or Supply Room. Don't leave until it is fully in your control, then go help out the tanks in the center.

Melee DPS: You will be assisting the Ranged DPS in taking the Ammo Cache or Supply Room.

Healers: You will be following the tanks to the center and keeping them alive until backup arrives.

Maximizing Renown Earned

           If you're ranged DPS or a healer stay up on the ledge looking down at the Ammo Cache. This will give you a ton of terrain protection and not allow many of the Melee DPS time to even get to you. If you're Melee DPS or a Tank, this is one of the worst intro scenario's for you. Without a healer you're not going to get much renown at all.
