Happy Halloween everyone!

Not really much of an update today but I wanted to post the most recent video I uploaded to Youtube, which is a Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Match. I'll be doing a few more of these depending on how well they are received, post your comments and let me know!

10/30/11

First update in over a week, still been too busy to really do much and I have had a cold for forever which just makes it super annoying to do anything. So, just a few quick updates. One is I applied for college recently and start some courses in January. I chose nursing as my major, figuring once I complete that I'll jump into medschool and yadda yadda yadda.

Anyway, I'm gonna be uploading some Battlefield 3 videos over the next few weeks and maybe some other gameplay videos or things such as that. Really nothing that big, I'm not in the best mood in the world to dive into a massive project. I recently had to make a few sad changes, I wouldn't take them back but I really wish the reality they brought me was false. It's amazing things people do with zero regard for how they affect others.

Alright so Battlefield 3 just came out yesterday and I have been spending a ton of time playing it the past day or so. So far it is alright, I don't like it as much as I liked Bad Company 2 but it is growing on me. I had to get used to the Medic kit being called Assault now and a bunch of other weird changes, sniper rifle swaying, which I might add is extremely unrealistic and also while we're on the topic of Sniper Rifles... What the frig is up with that MK11 MOD Sniper? The very first one you get as Recon, I mean this gun is a total pieceof crap.

Not only does it take 3 shots to kill someone ... Well, that's about it, the fact that it takes three shots to kill someone. Just give me a bolt action sniper and let me kill some people. I can't wait until I unlock the SV98, hopefully extremely soon. In the meantime, I should use the PP2000 gun or try to unlock it since it is a universal gun. That means any kit can use it and for Recon I'd be able to use a machine gun (The PP2000) in order to level past the absolutely terrible sniper

So, today was Battlefield 3's release day, I ordered my copy for the computer and also went to Gamestop later on to pick it up for the 360 since the computer was having so many horrible errors with EQ and their new Origin thing. For like the entire first five hours I wasn't even able to play the game thanks to Origin having so many errors and Internet Explorer also malfunctioning at the same. For some reason I was not able to get Internet Explorer to work properly with Origin, it kept asking me to download a new patch but everytime I went to install it nothing happened.

The patch I am talking about is called " battlelog-web-plugins-1.96.0-retail-prod ", which after googling it a bit I figured out others are having the same error with it as well. I think it has to do with the new Adobe Flash Player because Youtube, Origin or any of my other video-friendly websites aren't working with IE. I was forced to download Google Chrome in order to play BF3, which I am sure many others were required to do as well. (Or at least some other internet browser).

Anyway, over the next few days I'll post some more about Battlefield 3, once I get to playing it and things like that I will post my opinion and any comments for my readers.

Hey everyone! So not much new has been happening with me the past few days but I do have something extremely exciting to announce today! I am holding a new contest that will be available for anyone that is playing any game! For this contest I will be giving away an X-box 360, a PS3 or a Wii depending on which one you want the most, or if you don't want any of them I will write you a check for half the amount!

Sounds like a pretty good contest, huh? Well it is! And not only that, it is extremely easy to participate! All you need to do is like/comment all of my videos that I will be uploading the next few weeks for a chance to win. You must also be subscribed to me on youtube but that is something you should already be and of course if a no brainer.

Nothing much new to add here except for one possible big update to my website. Well not directly but indirectly. Youtube sent me an email pretty much telling me to apply for their Revenue Sharing program. Hopefully if all goes well I will be able to start making some bonus money from Youtube as well as from the ads on my website! This is some good news for me, if it does go through and they approve me/my videos then I will go back and remake every single farming location just this time with commentary so they can be accepted into the program as well.

I'll try and keep my site up to date on what's going on with the revenue sharing program thingie, I don't know how long it takes in order to get approved and what not but hopefully within the next few days I'll see some ads and some monai rolling in!

Such a unique and interesting date! I know! So today's update is going to really just be about me and what has been going on in my life. If you've read the past months then you know that sometimes I like to keep a personal journal, kind of like a blog so I can look back in the future and reminisce the past. So, if you don't give a dayum about my personal life you mine as well just skip over this update completely.

Since late September I have been talking to a girl, a very pretty one in fact and things have been going quite well. I usually don't blog about this type of stuff since I don't really care for personal matters to be out in the open but hey, I figure she'll never read it nor will anyone that knows me in real life so... Why not? =P

So, back on topic, about the girl. For the first time in awhile, probably close to two years I haven't found someone that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside as she has. Maybe that is a gay thing to say but I don't really care, it is the best way to describe my feelings at the current moment. Many others go through the same occult feelings when they bump into their special someone at one point in life or another, I guess now is mine. I mean it's gotten so bad I've pretty much changed my sleeping schedule a bit so I can be up when she wakes up to talk to her cause I'm always just that excited to talk to her after not doing so all night.

My author side wants to go into a very verbose description that would be so esoteric it'd blow your mind (catch those two adjectives? Bust out your dictionary people!) but I'll spare the silly details. Let's just say I haven't felt this good or hmm what's the word. Wanted in a very long time. I mean sheesh she even asked me out on a date, that's gotta stand for something right!?

Any whooser that's got to kind of mean something, I don't want to indulge into my feelings yet though because everything usually ends badly for me. So for now at least I think I will try to keep an arm's length distance but who knows I could wiggle in closer, things seem to be moving at a comfortable pace and as far as I can tell the feelings are mutual. Anyway, besides my love life I have been working a bit on my book when I get a chance, here is some of the most recent material that I've written:

Akarn covers his mouth and laughs gleefully through his teeth as Wuruk and Wurek verbosely attack each other. The fictional words created by the brothers to insult each other were not only creative but also quite comical. It was about mid argument when Akarn decided he was going to enjoy one of the pears as well as a muffin from the items that the brothers purchased. He relished each bite as he watched them incessantly argue with each other. It was a good thing neither of them ever got physical, he thought inwardly. If they did then their petty arguments would not be funny in the least. The closest Akarn ever witnessed them to getting physical during an argument was a finger pointed at the other’s face. And despite how common their arguments were; Akarn rarely ever saw fingers being pointed. Once he was finished eating, he assertively clapped his hands together to grab their attention before beginning to speak:

“Are you two done yet? We have a long journey ahead of us.”

Wurek lowers his head and faintly nods, “Sorry boss.”

“It’s ok.” Akarn replies.

Wuruk glances at Akarn and then the burlap sack before shaking his head, “You ate one of my muffins?!” It was not a question but a statement.

“Yeah, why?” Akarn replies.

“They were my muffins!”

“Oh shut it.” Wurek interjects in a sarcastic, yet threatening tone of voice.

Before Wuruk is able to reply with a snide comment, Akarn clears his throat and begins to speak, “Alright guys, lets grab everything and get the ball rolling while it is still early in the day. If we’re quick enough we can make it across The Land Bridge before it is time to rest.”

With that being said, the preparations for the journey begin. The weapons are gathered from the ground and secured to the brothers’ belts while Akarn tightly fastens the tethers holding the daggers to his thighs. The only remaining weapon is the oaken longbow, which Wurek is subconsciously drawn to. Being that he is the most skilled archer of the three, it goes without dispute that he is the best choice for the bow. With everything else taken care of, all that’s left is for Wuruk to carry the provisions. Despite his usual laziness, he is well aware that right now it is in the best interest of the group for him to carry the burlap sack. For one of the first times in his life, Wuruk takes charge and throws the sack over his shoulder. A wide conceited smile quickly follows along with a subtle head nod to his friends.

“Everyone ready?” Akarn asks although he already knows the answer.

“Ready when you are, boss!” Wurek replies excitedly.

“Alright then, let’s not waste anymore time!” Akarn says pointedly.

Akarn takes a dozen or so steps south before pausing briefly just outside the gate of Anosini. He turns his head so Anosini is just barely part of his peripherals as a saddened half smile crosses his face.

“What’s wrong?” Wuruk asks; obvious concern in his voice.

At first Akarn shuns away from the question but Wuruk is persistent in asking.

“This…” Akarn pauses, “This is as far as I have ever been from home.”

A faint smile fills Wuruk’s face as he gently clasps Akarn’s shoulder, “We’re all in this together Akarn. There is no reason to be scared.”

“I’m not scared,” Akarn growls as he pulls his shoulder away from Wuruk and continues south through the Mountain Pass. Wuruk looks to his brother and shrugs before following a distance behind Akarn.

So the SW:TOR beta I just took a part in ended, now I can't really give any information due to the NDA however I will say that the game was good. I enjoyed it, granted it needs a few tweaks but I think a lot of people will be extremely happy with the end result. Anyway, I will add more later, possibly some personal tidbits or what not, I'm not sure. We shall see!
