4/19/11 It's been a few days since I updated my site but I've been so busy it isn't even funny. I've started working on EQ Tradeskill guides, I've got Baking, Alchemy and Brewing mostly done, I still need to add a few pictures and sub-links but I'm happy with the state they're in right now. So far I'm happy with the direction they're taking my website, hopefully time will show me what they can really do. For an update about me, I managed to snag two more pieces of gear in PoFear earlier today.
With these two new peices of gear I think I am number four best geared druid on server (Hp/Mana) wise.... I wish EQ players would update so I could double check that and also /gloat to myself about it but it is still showing me at 2,881 mana when I have 3029. But, if EQplayers isn't updating me, then it isn't updating other people which means I most likely am not 3rd. Hopefully soon I will be though... I'm still using a Mesh Cape.... This thing doesn't even have stats. Rarely do I see anyone selling any cloak I can use and last time I did it was someone selling a Molten Cloak for some redic price of like 12k. Once the prices drop a little more I'll scoop up a new cloak for something more reasonable, like 2k.. Or maybe I'll get lucky one morning and when I check the Alchemist spawn in Permafrost he won't be perma camped. Well, that is about all I can think of now. Back to raising my Baking, currently 188... Making Halas 10lb Meat pies is starting to get boring. 4/14/11 Alright today was the big day to finally see CT in PoFear. I pulled an all nighter power leveling a friend and was at the raid first thing in the morning. We camped out in Fear for about six to seven hours until Cazic Thule finally spawned. After he spawned we ran over to him and pwned his face. Pretty straight forward. Pictures are below. Also for future reference, linking to my profile on eqplayers here.
4/12/11 Well today was like one of my very first times in PoFear and while I was here I managed to grab a new belt, a Dweamorvine Garlands, that was rotting off some trash that we killed. Now I am close to top 5 highest mana on the server for Druids. Once I replace my craptastic cloak I will probably top 3, then the only thing that is left is my legs which are also lol bad. Hopefully if I see someone in Commonlands selling a cloak for a reasonable price I may pick one up.
Aside from that loot update though, I've been busy with Tradeskills and other things, mostly with the book.. I'm trying to find some free time to hop on Dreamweaver more and just plow through some EQ guides. 4/10/11 Well I've been super busy the past few days and I will be for the next few days as well. But as for right now, I have time for one giant update! So a few nights ago my guild was next in line for Innoruuk. As many of you know Innoruuk is the PoHate boss. Well a few hours before he was going to pop (2am in the morning) we decided to go to hate and do some trash farming. Which I got totally super lucky and get one of my harmony pieces!
Little did I know of the coming events, later that night... Well I should say morning since Innoruuk spawned right around 7am, we downed him and I got some new sandals too! Innoruuk was pretty cool though, I didn't get to fight him in the same room that he spawns in though because of some idiot that decided to train him halfway through the zone. I'm not going to name names or even use a guild tag for said idiot but most of us know who he is. (And by most of us I mean my guild) But anyway, Inny went down and dropped some nifty halfling only slippers and I managed to win by something like .25 dkp, was pretty funny. Well, below are a picture of the slippers!
Since my last update I've also gotten two new pieces of gear as well and quite a bit of money. The other gear isn't from raids or anything but it is still something that was a vast improvement over my other crap. In closing, I shall leave you with a picture of them!
4/8/11 Not much new going on here. I've been hellishly busy with trying to update all of the EQ Progression Server guides and make them as up-to-date and helpful as possible. Which, this morning I just pretty much fully updated the EQ Progression Server leveling guide. I've got just about every zone on that page now... If you see anything that needs to be updated there, feel free to email me. In the mean time, I think I'm going to work on some videos for both EQ and WoW. Anyway, back to working on my Tradeskills. 4/5/11 Well, last night I lost my Nagafen virginity. That's right! That is the first time I was ever actually on a Nagafen kill. And surprisingly I was right there when he spawned. It was an interesting experience. He died a lot slower than Vox did, maybe we had more SK's for Vox or maybe more were AFK for naggy, who knows. All I know is for Vox I got off a single nuke but for Naggy I got off a few and then had to stop and heal my group from AE damage.
That is about all that happened that night. I've still been avidly working on my Baking skill and trying to get done these EQ guides as quickly as possible. Still haven't got anyone to help me with the leveling section yet =( .. Guess I will have to spend a few hours on researching the zones and camps over the next few days. So, due to that, It may take me a little longer but I shall get it done! In closing, I shall give you a screenshot of a Priest of Nagafen in Vox's lair. Explain that!
4/4/11 Giant new update coming later today, but for now check out the nav bar on the left side and explore the new EQ progression guides section! Alright, so I finally got tired of just having regular EQ guides and no guides that were really that useful for the progression server. So, I decided to make a ton of new guides specifically for the progression servers! Currently I am working on the farming and leveling sections but I will quickly expand that when I finish those two. I will be making some Tradeskill guides and hopefully even compile some old raid strategies for each boss. We shall see. I have high hopes! =P Anyway, all that is new with me is I was in PoHate the other day and we got a shot at the Maestro of Rancor. I never seen the boss before now so it was an interesting event for me. And, I was shockingly able to land all my nukes without a problem at all. However things started to get hectic and turn sour as everyone started taking damage, so I switched over to healing to keep my group up.
After about thirty seconds of that the Maestro realizes he doesn't like me anymore and gives me the beat down. We managed to get him to like 50% before wiping and then another guild ran in the room and was like "WUTS GOIN ON IN HARE?" and destroyed the Maestro for us. It was an interesting experience, I always like seeing raid bosses or even group bosses that I haven't seen before.

Also for my WoW viewers, I will be updating a lot of rep farming videos and other farming videos that were trashed with Cata. Lol, just realized this morning I forgot to put my website after I got done writing all that. So, here is yesterdays update today! 4/3/11 Well not that big of an update today. Not much has really been happening, I worked on my baking a bit this morning then camped out in Vox's lair all day. Oh, what fun we had. It was quite funny though when she finally did pop. Everyone went scrambling everywhere at first, thanks to fear, then we all ran back and starting bombing Vox. I managed to get a single nuke off before she went down and sadly it was resisted.
That is the only picture of the fun that i managed to capture. Oh and A+ if you recognized the lyrics in the chat window that i was attempting to type. Oh and I am currently working on a BIG thing for EQ (for my website of course) It should be done in a couple of days so keep an eye out! =D 4/1/11 Well, as everyone knows it is April Fool's Day and many websites are celebrating it in interesting and creative ways. I however choose not to celebrate April Fools, because I am a scrooge. However, I will bring you some of the coverage from my fun journies on April Fool's Day! First, it was around 3am when I went upstairs to make some food and when I came back down my Druid in Everquest was a bunny! A bunny I say, a bunny! I was seriously baffeled for a second and confused on what was going on. Below is a picture of that very moment!
After realizing that I was a rabbit I ran down from the hill I was parked on and noticed that some of the mobs had their models changed as well as did their names. Some mobs were named "Fluffy bunny" "a killer bunny" (or something like that) and then a few named bunnies named "Fluffy". I was a bit perplexed for a minute before reading one of the general channels and realizing that other people are experiencing similar "issues".
After a bit of time passed I went to bed. When I woke up I realized that the phenomenon was still going on. When I got to my efreeti group I realized that even one of my guildies was turned into a bunny! (Picture below) Many people are saying it is a uncreative and poor April Fools day joke but I'm kinda diggin it. It's funny seeing a bunch of bunnies running around everywhere, at it's a lot better than anything SoE did the past two years for April Fools.
So the night continued on and around 10pm est we were all called to a PoSky raid. We leapfrog up to isle 7 and burn it down before moving to isle 8 only to realize that in Eye of Veeshan's place is Harvey the Hare. Confusion struck the raid as we hoped that poor old harvey would still drop Eye of Veeshan loot. Luckily after a little over a minute fight Harvey the Hare goes down and my guild gets a server first, broadcast!
It was a fun and interesting night and definitaly one I will always remember. Oh, and grats to Smely on the druid loot from Harvey ;) |
