Mega Man VII is a platformer video game developed by Capcom and released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1995. In the game, players control the titular character, Mega Man, as he battles through various levels to defeat the evil Dr. Wily and his army of robots. The game features new mechanics and upgrades, including a new ability to charge Mega Man's Buster Shot, as well as the introduction of a new character, Bass, who can team up with Mega Man to take on enemies. Mega Man VII received generally positive reviews for its challenging gameplay, colorful graphics, and catchy soundtrack.

Versus Mode

You can enter Versus Mode by first entering this password: 1415 5585 7823 6251

Once you input the password hold the L and R buttons and push start. If you did everything right you'll be taken to the versus menu.

 

How to get ProtoMan's Shield

The first thing you will need to do is go to Protoman's Room in Cloudman's stage. The room is located before the outdoor part towards the end of the stage as you're nearing the boss. You'll see a ladder and you'll need to use Rush in order to get to it. If you're in the right area Protoman will make a comment to you about weapons.

After you've done that you'll want to head on over to Turboman's stage and go to the area with a bunch of street lights. The area you're looking for is on the third screen up at the top, you'll want to jump to the right and if you're in the right area you'll end up going through a wall and having Protoman talk to you again. Now you'll want to head over to Shademan's level and head over to the Pumpkin miniboss. Defeat him and he will open up a hole in the bottom. Head inside until you reach an area with a green enemy.

Take him out and instead of going down the ladder you'll want to go right and you'll run through a secret passage. You'll come across a gate eventually and if you did everything correctly Protoman will challenge you. After you defeat him he'll reward you with Protoman's Shield.
