MechWarrior is a first-person vehicular combat game that was released in 1989 for PC. The game was developed by Dynamix and published by Activision. In MechWarrior, the player takes on the role of a MechWarrior, a pilot who controls giant humanoid war machines known as BattleMechs. The game features a campaign mode, where players take on various missions across a storyline set in the year 3025. The player can also engage in multiplayer combat against other players or AI-controlled enemies. The game was well-received and spawned a series of sequels and spin-offs over the years.
