Donkey Kong Country is a 2D side-scrolling platformer game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The game was released in 1994 and is set on Donkey Kong Island, where Donkey Kong and his nephew Diddy Kong must recover their stolen banana hoard from the evil King K. Rool and his Kremling army. The game features pre-rendered 3D graphics and a variety of levels, each with its own unique design and enemies. Donkey Kong Country received critical acclaim for its graphics, gameplay, and music, and is often cited as one of the best platformers ever made.

Donkey Kong Country Codes

These are all of the codes that I know for Donkey Kong Country. The screen you'll want to put them in at is just past the intro screen, shown in the screenshot below. Successful entry of a code will cause a short song to play.

Bad Buddy Code (Switch between two players) - In the menu highlight "Erase Game " and input B, A, Down, B, Up, Down, Down, Y and A.

Start with 50 Lives - In the menu highlight "Erase Game " and input B, A, R, R, A, L then choose a game.

Practice the bonus rounds - While the intro is playing input the following code: Down, Y, Down, Down, Y
