Vah Shir Leveling GuideWhen you first start out as a Vah Shir, If you pick your home town of Shar Vahl you'll want to start leveling up in Shadeweaver's Thicket. Out here you'll be killing almost everything that moves, as long as it cons white to you of course! You can hang out here killing the Hoppers, Nuisance's, worms and beetles until about level 4. Once you reach level 4 start to head north towards Paludal. Note: The Beetles will still be white at level 3, so primarily focus on them. 
Items of Interest: Items That Aren't Worth A Damn: The mobs up here may be a tad hard for you, but you should be able to manage. You're going to be killing lesser shades and Skeletal Hunters. You're going to be finding two items that are worth a decent amount of cash in the Bazaar while killing these mobs. The items are Swirling Shadows and Shadeling Silk. I highly recommend you save them to sell in the bazaar. You will also be finding Bone Chips, which will also sell in the bazaar. Items of Interest: Items That Aren't Worth A Damn: After you hit level 7 or 8 you're ready to travel through the tunnel west of you and into Paludal Caverns. I recommend you kill your way through the tunnel, more XP and less probability of death. Also if you don't know where you're going it's probably best that you do kill your way through, so you don't get lost and die. Once you're inside Paludal It's time to start hacking and slashing again. This time you'll be killing the mobs in here until level 15. 
Items of Interest: Items That Aren't Worth A Damn: Once you reach level 15 you can leave Paludal Caverns or continue leveling in it. I have paths written for both. |
